Via Emily at RH Reality Check, the Fourth Circuit Court has agreed to re-hear a Virginia ban on late-term abortions, something prompted by the Supreme Court's ruling on Gonzales v. Carhart, the case that upheld the federal partial-birth abortion ban. Originally the court determined that Virginia's ban was "substantially broader" than the federal abortion ban. Virginia's Republican attorney general, Bob McDonnell, asked the court to re-hear the entire case. Now we'll have to wait and see if the court will uphold its previous decision or if it will change the ruling.
