LAPD Fails to Test Rape Kits

The fact that LAPD could not get it together (of course, their excuse is funding) to test more than 200 rape kits for DNA evidence within the 10-year limitation is pretty horrible. So few cases of rape are reported, let alone prosecuted. It's really depressing to know that if you live in Los Angeles and you get raped, the most likely course of action on the part of the authorities is nothing.
